Discovering Vikerfjell
Vikerfjell has something to offer all year though – and you’ll arrive after
a short hour and a half drive from eg. Oslo, Drammen, Asker or Bærum.

Regardless of the season, you will be able
to experience the unique nature and scenery of the Vikerfjell area with
Bjørntjernlia as starting point.
Bjørntjernlia is a brand new cabin area south of the bare mountain. The
building sites are located 650-700 meters above sea level and span from
approximately 2100 to 4400m2.
The nearest summit – Høgfjell – is located 1010 meters above sea level and
approximately 5,5 km north of the area. The highest peak in the Vikerfjell
area is Jøranfisen with its 1127 m above sea level.

During the summer and autumn you may take a
trip up to the bare mountain, taking cool baths in the pools of the creek of
Flåbekk running close to the area, picking berries and mushrooms, fishing in
Sperillen or in one of the over 20 lakes of Vikerfjell, or just enjoying the
nature and scenery from your own cabin porch. Perhaps you'll even spot a
mouse sauntering the edge of the marsh, a capercailzie or a blackcock in
their mating game, or an hare grazing.
You may experience all this and more in the heart of the mountainous parts
of eastern Norway.
Winter
season
During the winter we offer approximately 70 km of well prepared ski tracks,
and close to Ringerudseter there is a small alpine skiing resort for those
who fancy variation. To reach this resort, you can get there by cross
country skiing for about 7 km or 40 minutes by car, heading north.
Hunting
A limited number of hunting licenses for small game (hare and birds) will be
offered for sale to the site owners. Due to there not being sufficient area
for all the owners to hunt at the same time, the responsibility for this
sale will in the future be transferred to the cabin owner committee.
